In case of a storm or flooding, shut off the mains power supply and evacuate all the staff members. Notify the insurance company, the landlord (if it is a rented premise), and us. Our teams will come with high-power vacuuming systems for commercial water removal. We will also set up powerful fans to enable the fast removal of moisture in the house.
From this point, we embark on cleaning the floor, the carpet, the ceiling, and the walls. After this, we disinfect all the surfaces and use our contamination testing equipment to ensure that the house is clean and free of pathogens. We also clean the dirt that may have been deposited by surface water run-off outdoors.
A commercial fire can be started by an electric fault, lightning, or cooking equipment. The procedure we follow for restoration depends on the extent of the fire damage. We can clean up small fires in a short period. However, for extensive powers, we inspect the building for structural integrity with our thermal imaging cameras and advise what needs to be done. We may do extensive repairs on your business or just the area that was directly affected by the fire.
Mold grows on surfaces that have been damp for some time. Mold lowers the quality of indoor air and may cause respiratory system illnesses among the employees. We effectively clean up the mold in your commercial building, identify and fix the source of the moisture. This could be a leaking pipe, a leak in the roof, or a blockage in the drainage of the air conditioner. To prevent similar leakages in the future, we recommend preventive maintenance or inspection of your plumbing units for damage or leakage.

Have you had any of the above commercial disasters in the recent past? We may be able to help. If you’ve experienced commercial water damage, commercial fire damage, or are in need of commercial mold removal, contact Disaster Doctors, and someone will be on hand to assist. Every minute counts when you are not in business. Let us get you back up in no time.
We are a 24-hour service and arrive WITHIN the hour of your call. But before we arrive, here are steps you can take.
Mop up as much water as possible and remove anything on the floor, such as wet rugs and of course paper products. But be wary of removing electric appliances or wires. It’s best to wait for us to handle those as wiring that gets wet can be very dangerous. However, if your power sources or electric appliances are NOT near the flooded areas, turn them off.
Open your drawers and closet doors to decrease drying time.
Move your furniture away if possible and wipe down your furniture moisture as best you can.
Ensure you’ve moved wall paintings to a dry area.
At any sign of commercial water damage, err on the side of caution and act fast. Just as you wouldn’t let an infected wound fester before seeing a doctor, don’t let your water damage linger without consulting a Disaster Doctor. Waiting only gives the water more time to seep into infrastructure, which only worsens your damage and prolongs the problem. Once ceiling tiles and drywall get wet, you’ve got twice as many problems as you did at the start of the flooding. For example, hardwood floors start to buckle, plaster and drywall begin to sag and crack, and vinyl loosens from the floor. In terms of mold, mold spores start to colonize, and mold fungus spreads quickly. Be aware of the top places to look for mold because if left undetected, mold can make your business inhabitable.
After the giant storm, Carlos was very helpful to arrange an inspection and explain options. He and Norm came right away. They were very comfortable to work with, and they took care of the whole problem so we didn’t have to deal with it. Plus they thoroughly cleaned. Thanks!!! Great job!

We were concerned that the new home we moved into may have had a mold problem because we kept getting sick. We had a separate company do a mold spore check, and they found that mold spore levels were elevated, so we called the Disaster Doctors to see if they could mitigate the mold problem. Cody came and did a thorough check. He showed me areas of concern, gave me advice on how I could solve it, and answered all of our questions. He was very honest in letting us know that he didn’t think our problem was serious enough to justify paying them 2 to 5 grand to get rid of so little dried mold. He told us exactly what we could do instead to fix it (I took a bunch of notes), and it’s saved us a lot of money! I love the honesty of this company and how helpful and knowledgeable their technicians are! They didn’t even charge us for Cody’s visit.
